Hello again. I wasn’t able to blog yesterday because my husband and I went to Batangas City. We left at about 7 a.m. Just when we almost reached the bus terminal, we realized we left our gift for baby Flona. So, he turned the stirring wheel and headed back. LOL. It’s a 10 minutes drive from our house to the bus terminal which is in Dau. We did that twice. LOL. Anyway, we left his jeep at the back of the terminal where other vehicles were parked. Then we embarked on a bus going to Cubao. Then we disembarked and rode on another bus bound for Batangas City.

When we got there, Flona was sleeping in her hammock. She’s so cute and she has grown. When she woke up and realized her mom and dad were not in sight, she started crying. As if screaming, who are these people! LOL. Then in between her sobs she would glance at us and started to cry again. LOL. She’s not so used to seeing people. Unfamiliar faces scares her. It’s the second time she saw her uncle Andy and the first time I met her. That explains. LOL. She still looks so cute even when crying

Then his brother Leo, his wife and their two kids, both boys, came. Followed by Inday with his son and their aunt. Birthday party is a good venue for family gathering. It was fun with kids and in-laws. I had good time chatting with them and catching on their family events. We took photos of their kids, at times, candid shots which I like most. There were plenty of yummy foods. Palabok was my favorite.!

We bid goodbye because it’s getting late. We waited for a passing bus bound for Cubao. Since it’s weekend, it took us about 30 min. before we were able to ride a bus. It was already 6 p.m. when we left Batangas City. We rode going to LRT Buendia. We were in Magallanes when we waited for an airconditioned bus bound for Dau. Many buses were bound for Novaliches and Letre but none going to Dau. 45 minutes passby and still no bus going to Dau. We were starting to lose our patience . Atlas, a non-air bus bound for Dau came, we hurriedly climbed up. It was the only bus bound for Dau that night. It was dark already about 8 p.m. and I’m quite hungry already. We bought buko pie from a vendor but I was dismayed because it wasn’t delicious but we ate anyway. We arrived at Dau past 9 in the evening and finally, home by quarter 10 p.m. it was such a long tiring day but I had fun with Andy’s family and with the kids.

I wanted to blog but decided not to. After brushing my teeth and half-bath, I headed straight to bed. The next thing I knew, the sun is already up and shinning bright. Nice day!!! Lovely day since it didn’t rain again. Thanks God.
