cuttie

This is cuttie. My very first pet dog. She was still a pup when I took this photo. She is also a maltese Shitzu breed. My aunt Minda gave her to me. I got her from Tacurong City. She is a good companion. I can still remember there were times when I had to work overtime to cut gowns and everyone of my staff left for home or already asleep, cuttie is still with me… coaching me to play with her by tugging the hem of my pants… or bittiing softly on my feet… or dragging the very cloth I’m cutting. Yup, she keeps me wide awake and laughing.

She used to sleep in my room in the second floor. When she was still a pup, she had her sleeping-cushion under my dresser. Since I had no aircon in my room, she had her own fan. She never slept without it. When she was a bit older, I had to put her in the kitchen. And the first night was difficult for both of us. She was barking the whole time. She was scratching and nudging my door as if knocking and saying:”what’s wrong with you? Why are you keeping me out? Are you serious? Of course, it didn’t took long we both adjusted to the new “sleeping arrangement”.

She is such a sweet pet. Well, to me and my mom. LOL. No one besides me and mom could hold and bathe her. LOL. She got an attitude. Yup, there are times she just doesn’t want to get “involve” with people. They would call her name and try to cuddle her. Boy! She will just stare at you and give a low growl. Since i traveled frequently, she moved outside mom's door. Mama says that she is guarding their entrance at night. LOL. Whereve my mom goes, she's there too. Silently watching, guarding my mom. LOL. Such a sweet and loving companion.

my caramel brown dachshund
sweet and friendly
playful and hyper
kids in our neighborhood adore him

Maida gave him to me. i got him from Zamboanga where i was on travel for the wedding of my client. When we arrived home, he was sick so i rushed him to the vet. The vet gave him shots of medicine and vitamins. He was dehydrated and so thin. He could barely walk. When we went home, he had his dextrose. The good vet put wedge so the needle won't dislodge. But she doubted martin could live. So i went home crying. i was so sad but i never gave up. Upon seeing me crying, my father help me take good care of sick martin. We grounded meat and placed it inside a small bottle. Put meat soup, eggs and some antibiotics. We placed the body of a ballpen and attached it to the bottle. now it served as a feeding bottle. we forced martin to eat by placing the nozzle at the side of his mouth. Then we feed him with water. that's how he survived his ordeal. when he was strong enough, we visited his vet. and she was so glad to see martin again.

Two years after that incident, he got ill again. This time he went so thin and wasted. i couldn't bare seeing him dying so slow. i was always looking at him and crying. i didn't know what else to do. The night before he died, i gave him his med. As if with all his strength left, he came crawling near me and laid his head on my lap. The following day, he is gone. i miss martin. he was such a sweet dog.

He is a very jealous dog, once you pat and hug cuddle the other, he won’t stop nudging you until you pat and hug him, too. LOL. Though he is now bigger and heavier , he still loves to be cuddled.

CUTE Bruce

CUTE BRUCE....

This is Bruce when he is just few months old. They all look the same except for few spots of tri-color in different parts of their bodies. Actually, when they were born we called them “Uno”, “Dos” and “Tres”. That was the time when Uno, dos, tres food supplement was flooding the radio advertisement. LOL. And that time we still had no idea what name to give them. The first pup that came out had one spot in the head, we called him Bruce later. The second pup had two spots, one in the butt cheek and the other on top of her back. We named her Wendy from one of the Pinoy Big Brother Participants (a reality show in the Philippines). The last to came out had three spots, one in the head and two in her trunk. They are siblings of Samson and Cuttie.

While I was in shower this morning, I realized I have to note all the medicines and food supplements that I am taking and will be taking. Granting I’ll get pregnant this time, I will be sharing this information to other women who, like me, have difficulty conceiving.

As I was surfing the net I came across articles stating that folic acid is good for women who are already pregnant and who are planning to get pregnant. I also remember my former OB instructing me to take folic acid. Also a nurse client who is currently based in London, emailed me to take ferrous sulfate daily. For my UTI ,I’ve read in an article that CranUTI, a herbal dietary supplement is good for maintaining healthy urinary tract. And so far, I haven’t noticed my infection recurred. So I’ve been taking those medicines and food supplement and see if it will aide me in my quest for fertility. I’ll be posting the medicines and food supplements I will be taking so I will be able to .

This is not an advertisement. I am simply blogging what i am doing in quest of fertility. I am still surfing the net for other ideas on how to get pregnant fast. i have to, because i'll be 35 years old come October. The more older I am, the lower my chances of conceiving and the higher the risk entailed in pregnancy.

My husband and I will be traveling to Batangas City. His niece, Flona, will be celebrating her birthday. He had already confirmed our attendance. It will be fun playing with the kids and seeing his brothers and in-laws again.

I miss Alvin’s shyness. It usually took him about an hour to get used to new faces. However, once he comes out of his shell, boy! He is one funny kid. My hubby like it when he whispers “secrets” because it means he’s already on his playing mood. Alvin loves “secret”. He and his mom have so many secrets. Sometimes his mom would tease him by telling us their secret out loud and he would run to her and cover her mouth with his small hands. And we would all laugh.
One would not miss Alvey in the crowd. He is one cute baby boy. When he wants something, he will get it. If not, he will give you a very cute giggling face you can never resist. LOL. I remember when we paid them a visit, he wanted to go with her mom who is about to go to work. He was crying his heart out but when his mom told him “beautiful eyes”, he immediately stopped cry and started closing and opening his eyes and smiled showing his dimple. LOL. And he did that couple of times. He is a funny kid.

Yup, It means more photos of babies and kids for my blog. LOL. Above all, it’s fun meeting my in-laws again. This is very rare occasion. I know hubby really wants to go since they now live in different places; some in the Visayas islands and some in the Luzon areas. Birthdays are few of the occasions where his family gathers.

But I’ve already taken my last 2 tablets of duphaston yesterday. So I’m waiting for my menstruation now. It should be due in 2-3 days. If I’ll have menstruation tomorrow, we will have to go to my OB same day and proceed with the injectables. That would mean we cannot go on travel. Sigh. Right this morning, he is still wishing my 1st day of menstruation will fall on Sunday so that we will go to my OB on Monday instead of Saturday. Anyway, let’s see what happens.
