The clinic assistant demonstrated how to properly inject Puregon. First, she loaded up the Puregon pen, and dialed 75iu the initial dose prescribed by my OB. She then instructed that I am to inject the said medicine to my belly particularly the fatty area which she did on the right side of my tummy. Once injected, I have to hold it and count up to 10 before withdrawing the syringe. The purpose of counting before withdrawing the injection is for the medicine to drain. I am also supposed to inject it to various parts. After that, she wiped it with cotton wet with alcohol.
